This is a new blog that will take songs (which may or may not be considered Christian) and ask difficult questions related to them from my own perspective. I hope you will take the time to listen, think, and take up the challenge to respond.

This album is the inspiration for the title of this blog and Todd Agnew is one of my favorite artists because he asks the tough questions. Comments are not only welcome but encouraged from all, friends and otherwise.
It's the first line of this song that really gets me: is there any way not to say prayers more intensely for those we are close to?
Of course, maybe that's the answer. There won't be peace on the earth, at least according to the Bible. And there can't be, because we're humans and focus our energy on those we have a vested interest in, most of all ourselves.
The story of Christ's birth is a story of promise, hope, and a revolutionary love.
